Not sure what the point of trading is when there are great UFAs to be had. Looks like Datsyuk, Pronger, and Thornton are all available. If we could get one of two of those guys we would be in excellent shape.

We'd pay a premium for Pronger - plenty of teams in the league looking to hit the cap floor.

Would probably still be worth it, though.

A one eyed, broken brained CP is still better than Marincin.

What about Brendan Leipsic. 49 games 51 points. 33 assists. And one of the few LWs that the leafs have in their system

He seemed to play well when he was called up with the leafs too. Scored a couple goals I think.

Those guys would be too expensive. We can sign Robidas to a multi year deal to shore up our back end.

I've heard the Leafs have given him an offer - but it's conditional on him failing the physical.

What's wrong with Gauthier again?

I doubt JVR signs for less than 6, so moving him would be ideal, even if it means moving into the top 5 at the draft by combining our 1st rounder.

Bozak should probably stay as he's a really underrated centreman and an ideal 3rd liner.

Since we aren't getting any help through UFAs I'd like to see a good trade made. hell even getting the likes of Kevin Bieksa for a year would be a nice stop-gap and allow us some depth at the blueline.

I think the Leafs have moved past the tanking stage..better to pass on players who should no longer be in the NHL

To bad he's soft as yogurt and no not really suited for a third line. Should be big tough grinders on the third line.

He shouldn't have been driving if he was going to drink, he should have just played mini golf.
